How It Works

Three ways to play on the same chart, all backed by real historical prices

  1. 1

    Pick a mode

    • Solo. Practice alone. Your pair, your timeframe.
    • Battle. You're shown another player's setup on the chart. You vote on how it plays out.
    • Challange. Levels. They get tougher as you go.
  2. 2

    Mark your trade

Double-click the chart for entry, stop, and target.

In Battle you vote on another player's setup instead of drawing your own. Same chart, same real candle history.

  3. 3

    See what happened

The candles keep printing. Your trade plays out against what really happened next.

Check stats and the leaderboard when you want, then start another round.

FAQ

Answers to common questions about how Dare2Trade works and what it is (and is not)

What is Dare2Trade?

Dare2Trade is a free browser based trading simulation game that lets you practice reading price action, placing trades, and developing market intuition using real historical candlestick data across crypto, forex, U.S. markets, and futures. It is a game and educational tool designed for learning and competition.

Who is Dare2Trade for?

Dare2Trade is for anyone who wants to practice trading skills, from beginners learning how entries, stop-losses, and take-profits work to experienced traders who want to sharpen decision-making and compete on the leaderboard without risking capital.

How does the Solo game work?

In Solo mode, you choose a market and timeframe, then place your entry, stop-loss, and take-profit directly on the chart using real historical data. The trade then plays out bar by bar until either your stop or target is hit, and your performance is tracked using profit and loss percentages and other stats.

What is Challenge mode?

Challenge mode is a level-based progression system where you play fixed sets of rounds under specific rules. For example, winning a minimum number of trades, keeping every trade at or above a certain reward-to-risk ratio, or reaching a required total R. Completing a level unlocks the next one, and free users can progress through the first three levels.

What is Battle mode?

In Battle mode, you are shown a real historical trade setup from another trader and decide whether you would take or pass on the trade. After you choose, the chart replays and reveals how the trade actually ended, updating your accuracy, streak, and crowd comparison stats.

Which markets and timeframes can I trade in Dare2Trade?

You can practice on a range of crypto, forex, U.S. market, and futures instruments across multiple timeframes, such as 1-minute, 5-minute, 15-minute, 1-hour, and 1-day charts. Available options may vary with asset selection and subscription plan.

What do subscriptions unlock?

Subscriptions do not turn Dare2Trade into a real money platform. They unlock more game features, such as removing the cooldown between games, unlocking additional timeframes, allowing unlimited Battle and Challenge play, and granting access to all Challenge levels.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes. After you subscribe, you receive an email from our payment provider with a "View order" link. From that customer portal you can manage or cancel your Dare2Trade subscription at any time.

Does Dare2Trade give trading signals or financial advice?

No. Dare2Trade does not provide trading signals, recommendations, or personalized financial advice. All scenarios are for practice and education only. Always do your own research and consult a qualified professional before making real trades.

Does Dare2Trade use real money?

No. Dare2Trade is a 100% risk-free trading simulation. All activity happens with simulated trades on historical market data. No real money is deposited, traded, or withdrawn, and no actual financial instruments are bought or sold.

Is Dare2Trade a brokerage or financial service?

No. Dare2Trade is not a brokerage, exchange, or investment advisory service and does not provide financial products, trading access, or investment advice. It is a digital game product meant for education and entertainment only.

Research-backed learning

Why practice trading in a simulator?

Structured simulation can improve trading-related learning, while live trading without clear rules and risk limits can reinforce bad habits. Dare2Trade is designed to help you train process first in a controlled environment.

3

Overconfidence risk

Unrealistic feelings of control over market outcomes are associated with worse trading performance, which is why process and risk limits matter more than prediction.

Risk management focus

Regulatory guidance emphasizes strong risk controls before market access. Dare2Trade mirrors this with clear entries, stop-losses, and position planning on every trade.
